THE ARC is an association of churches and leaders fostering Christian renewal in worship, Biblical faith and lifestyle, and unity among Christians. Its primary functions are pastoral care, leadership training conferences, church planting,missions and supportive services to churches.

Outside Relational Resource

I was pleased with the tenor of our conference last month and with the deposit Mark Spencer brought to us in the arena of community and how it fits into the process of disciple-making. And I was further heartened by the high quality workshops that were put forward. We have a full stable of internal resources that I’m thinking we have yet to plumb the depths.

During our 3 days of pre-conference leadership meetings, we made a decision to add 2 women and 2 younger generation leaders to our MMC group. More on the identities later (not that it’s so secret but it does require further processing), but it was gratifying to me that a direction we pursued 7 years ago regarding the 3G’s (Gifts, Generations and Gender ) that we felt needed some adjustment , has , in fact, been adjusted. And in my oversight perspective of the ARC churches, I see the same adjustments being enacted almost across the board. I think we’re getting healthier, frankly.
